Champagne Grand Cru Masterpieces

Being all exclusively Grands Crus, Louis Dubosquet Champagnes are so named as a tribute to the long Plantevigne-Dubosquet family heritage, which roots in the vineyards that can be traced back to the 18th century.

Louis Dubosquet Champagne Grand Cru comes exclusively from few villages amongst the seventeen legally classified 100% Grand Cru locales placed at the apex of the list of 320 Champagne villages.

Only outstanding years are kept aside for these masterpieces.

Wines are stored in cellars for several years allowing complex aromas and flavours to develop.

Louis Dubosquet Champagnes are presented in a 19th century style bottle with a gilded label and are identified by a unique engraved number, also recorded on a watermarked certificate. Rather than the more commonly encountered wire muselet, in accordance with the Royal Ordinance dated 1735, a crossed string and seal secures the cork in the bottle.

Millesime 2005

A Symphony of Grands Crus

Louis Dubosquet Champagne Grand Cru Millesime is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties (45% and 55% respectively), but chosen only in exceptional years when the fruit has reached the highest level of perfection.

Louis Dubosquet Champagne Grand Cru Millesime is then stored in cellars for a minimum of 6 years but often longer, so revealing its potential for elegant ageing which results from its exclusively Grand Cru origin.

It is presented in a traditonal 19th style bottle with a 24 carat gilded label made by Master Goldsmiths. Each bottle is identified by a serial number engraved in the glass and recorded on a watermarked certificate.

The cork, according to the Royal Ordinance dated 1735, is fastened , not by a metallic muselet, but by a crossed string with a seal identifying the authenticity and elegance of this exceptional Champagne.

A beautiful golden fluid achieves a perfect balance between expressive citrus aromas with hints of brioche, toasted bread, fresh butter, dried fruit and just a suggestion of truffle.

In short, a full bodied, creamy and complex Champagne with very delicate effervescence.

Louis Dubosquet Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Millesime is produced only in exceptional years when Chardonnay grapes achieve their own pinnacle of perfection. It is stored in cellars for a minium of 6 years and often longer, thereby encouraging its potential for ageing elegantly due to the exceptional Grand Cru origin.

Louis Dubosquet Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Millesime is presented in a traditional 19th style bottle with a 24 carat gilded label made by master goldsmiths. Each bottle is identified by a serial number engraved in the glass and recorded on a watermarked certificate.

This Cuvée is exclusively composed of Chardonnay 100% Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs. A beautiful golden fluid achieve a perfect balance between aromas where citrus (mandarin) dominates but where chocolate and mineral notes are present and even a touch of "physalis” (Cape gooseberry). The palate is balanced and long, and finishes with intimations of freshness.

The Grand Cru Rosé

A composition of Aÿ, Bouzy and Avize Grands Crus with a delicate balance between Pinot noir and Chardonnay grapes (80% and 20% respectively). Louis Dubosquet Grand Cru Rosé is then stored in cellars for several years to encourage the development of its exceptional freshness and minerality.

Louis Dubosquet Champagne Grand Cru Rosé is presented in a traditonal 19th style bottle with a pink gilded label made by master goldsmiths. Each bottle is identified by a serial number engraved in the glass and recorded on a watermarked certificate.

Due to its exclusively Grand Cru provenance, it has exceptional finesse, intensity and minerality. With a luminous clear pink colour, this Rosé Champagne exudes a wide range of aromas and flavours, in particular red berries, notably raspberries and wild strawberries. The palate is lively with a finish dominated by wild strawberry.
